I got my partial payment back in September. Had to fight them tooth nail and claw over it the whole time. There is a listing for the law firm that handles the suit some where in all the paper work they show online. I contacted them for some assistance and were more than happy to help. Even...

They replaced the entire piece including the orings ,once when I started this thread and again almost exactly a year from then. It’s a cheap piece of plastic with orings going into aluminum so it’s going to be prone to failure. Just one of many things to watch on this truck. Both times it was...

Hate to hear that, if you’ll read this thread from the beginning to end you’ll find a few things to try before shelling out the cash to the dealer. They may work and they may not ,seems everyone has had different results but they are all still worth trying. I did just about all of them and In...

Delete the whole truck!! Taking kind back to dealership today for the second oil leak in the same place almost 2 years to the date it’s the o ring on the air bleeder under the oilfilter plus with all the other issues I’ve had this truck isn’t a lemon it’s a persimmon. Sent from my iPhone...

Hope that recall equals a refund for those of us who have already replaced it and had to pay. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This happened to me more than once, I would just drive mine till the 500 mile warning would come back then try the temp fix again. Reseting the code was useless I could reset the code start the truck drive it unlimited miles with no code but as soon as I started it the second time within 10...

Glad to see it worked ,when I did mine the needle never went past 2/3 either. Sometimes when I would add DEF the code would trip again and I could reset the code drain the gallon out and code would not come back that was with one gallon containers every time I added the 2.5 gallon container it...

Take your time and don’t rush it. I wouldn’t reuse the DEF you take out no matter how new it is and let it sit overnight. When I first did this the results were about 15 -20 minutes later. I was actually sitting at a red light pondering all the wasted time I had put into this when the gauge...

I would have figured the extended warranty would have covered this , I’d certainly make them show me the fine print where it doesn’t. I didn’t have the extended warranty so I never argued over that. I do however feel your pain over the $2k, and that there is a design flaw. Not that it’ll help...

It certainly couldn’t hurt it anymore if it’s broke I would just make sure to flush it out with more distilled water. Just keep in mind all of the methods everyone is suggesting including me is based on an assumption that crystallized DEF is causing the problem. There is a chance that the gauge...

Distilled water over night will break down the urea without putting in any foreign contamination in the DEF tank and making a bad situation worse ,who knows what’s in the tap water. Since DEF is 65% distilled water 100% distilled water won’t hurt the gauge or contaminate the system as far as the...

I hate to hear your having this problem I fought it for a year or longer. The gauge is built into the tank so there is no replacing just the gauge. I removed the tank and filled with distilled water to get it to work once ,but even then it was picky ,if I filled it up the code would return. I...

Wouldn't happen to know if it just changes the mileage between oil changes or is it more technical than that, if that's all it is I can deal with that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wish mine got that kind of mileage. The best I can remember is around 26 when it had around 10-15000. I'm at 60,000 now and has went to around 23 mpg. This truck has a long history of codes and problems. I think my truck was put out as a "let's see what sucker buys this for a beta tester" truck...

I have a 2014 ecodiesel its about time for the oil change I'm going to use the rottella this time do I need to have the truck flashed to do this? Talked to 3 dealers today 2 haven't heard anything about the oil grade change the other has and said yes the truck needs a flash. My question is does...
