You will need a good WDH and do your research setting it up. I have a Rockwood Ultralite and the advertised hitch weight is not anywhere near accurate. Your RAMs payload is probably not as much as you think.

If you buy ALFAobd software you can change the injector codes to your truck. Will require some research on your part but I have read it is not too difficult.

You may want to do a little reading on modern diesels in general! Here is a little info on DEF to get you started. You definitely don't want to introduce Urea and water into you fuel system!
