Good morning all,
This isn't a big issue, or something to rush to the dealer for, but I do have an issue that is driving me up the wall.
It seems every time I set the parking brake on a cold day, after I release it, and put the truck in drive, the brake warning light starts flashing, and I get...
Update and conclusion: I got my truck back today. HP fuel pump, all injectors, fuel rails, fuel lines, filer and housing. She seems to be running good. Drove her around for a while different conditions and all is well.
On another note, I would like to say that my dealer second department is top...
Update: Service called. STAR has determined the fuel pump is disinigrating and will need to be replaced along with the fuel filter, and injectors again. All fuel lines will need to be flushed as well. Parts are BKO. Service indicated there are two pumps. Is this right? In tank and on engine?
A Grand Caravan. They didn't have anything with a hitch, so that means I can't take the boat out. I'm missing out on the best time of the year to catch Cats.
Update: service changed 3 more injectors. Started and shut off 4 times. Ran great. On the fifth start, it went back to spitting and sputtering. Service is still working with STAR.
I just got a call from the service department. They replaced all the injectors and it is still doing it. There seems to be two injectors that is sucking more fuel than the others. They are working with STAR to find a solution.

Yea, it seems after the reflash, my milage has dropped. 28 hwy to 25 hwy. On a trip as we speak and am kindof disappointed. Deisel 1 could have something to do with it. Not sure. Also, the reflash has activated a downshift feature. Kindof cool, but again, maybe effecting my fuel milage.
With the new oil spec, has the service interval changed as well? I know to follow the % meter in the dash, but that doesn't tell me much except oil life. 10k still blows my mind....
Wow. Just brought my truck in for its first service. Quoted the TSB, even provided a copy of it. They said they never seen it and TSB'S were accomplished by matching to the VIN. Ok, sounds reasonalble. They checked and came back and said the truck did in fact have the TSB and needed the new oil...
Ok.... how do I stop getting notifications of updates to this thread. My question was answered a long time ago. I do not wish to view this sword rattling any longer.
