Here in Va I had the same problem. They’re not bad to work on yourself if you have the capability and can source the procedures online.

Alfaobd gives you the option to disable it in the vehicle programming completely.

I didn’t know this but def does have a shelf life and has to be stored properly. It’s a nasty thing to deal with when it starts crystallizing

Welcome! I mean I guess it would depend on mileage and how used and dealer preference. I’ve never gotten a loaner from my dealer when I tried to use them but everyone of them is different.

Sounds like cp4 is on the way out. You’d have to do a fuel pressure test of the lift pump to see what it’s outputting. Where are you located I may be able to help out

Installed April 2022, truck is deleted, used for commuting and towing, noticed lack of power about a year ago, with occasional SET lighting bolt. pulled and replaced turbo, same thing. Ended up doing a boost leak test and found this.

Sounds like a glitch in electronics or your dealers have zero idea what to look at

After the 2 year warranty is up they just try to sell you new stuff after their stuff fails just FYI. I could understand the silicone boot failing and not being covered but you’d think they could stand behind their ALUMINUM PIPE.

Could be hpfp failing or in tank pump failing

Ah, a Virginian! Lol I wouldn’t say bearings since it comes and goes away. I’ve always accounted mine to traditional diesel knocking. Mine gets a nasty sounding knock when it’s not quite boosted and under a heavy pull. Almost like you’re lugging the engine. My 6.7 does it also. Is yours deleted?

My AFE aftermarket one crapped out and it’s a painstaking process to try to talk to them. I’d settle for oem to get me by if anyone’s got a parts truck.

After a boost test, found my AFE hot side charge pipe cracked around 3” in length on the bottom by the engine mount weld. Looking like I may have gone through that pain and suffering for an AFTERMARKET “upgrade” failure. Shm pipes can’t be 5 years old.
