Try Mrtuning out of Canada, BUT I'm not 100% sure.

I got a flyer from my local napa store that listed T6 5W40 for $24.99 a gallon, I've been paying about $22.00 a gallon at Walmart & Tractor supply. I tried to order from Napa & they're not available, I can get 15w40 but not fond of the idea.

What I read is that some 2017 & 2018 models require this update due to conditionally approved ECM programming. I just checked and my truck is not listed for W91, just VB1 for the EGR cooler.

Hmm, I've also got a 17 and have no pending recalls other than the EGR cooler.

I've read of some folks replacing just the hose with a piece of silicone heater hose & proper hose clamps(full circle), parts cost was less than 20 bucks IIRC.

Post #5 has a link to the thread with the manual, it's post#53 in the opened link. I also sent via a file sharing app for large files but it may not go through, it's about 200mb and is a zipped file.

Y'all will need a tune to turn off the swirl valves if you go to the Banks intake.

If the manufacturers were held accountable for their follies they would fix stuff & hold their suppliers accountable. It's just not right when you spend that kind of money & then can't use it for it's intended purpose. End users should be able to make necessary changes without effecting their...

I'm wondering how the dickens they can issue a recall and get away with not supplying the parts,, I've been on a supposed waiting list for over a year, meantime I'm running my stage 1 tune waiting for a fix. Makes me wonder what the hell the EPA can do, or does there need to be another class...

The EVIC on my ride is 1-3 mpg off, it shows 1-3 mpg above my actual hand calculated mileage.

Have you done a hand calculation on the mileage? My 17 is SFT stage 1tuned, I can squeeze 29 on a very good day, 22-23 the norm in mixed, and around 25 normally on the hiway, 3.92 gears stock tires & wheels. The mileage I've listed are all hand calculated because the EVIC numbers are always high...

I have read that the stock air filter box & filter actually flow & filter better than the after markets & cold air kits.

Get ALFAOBD and an MX+ dongle, that's the best setup for the RAM. ALFA is not available for IOS, but there is an android and windows version. I use an unused KINDLE FIRE to run it.

If you want to delete & do a stage 2 then go for SFT as they include both stage 1 and 2 for the price they charge. I ordered the SFT 6 months after I bought the truck, & now I'm waiting for the EGR delete kit & delete pipes.

ALFAOBD & AN ANDROID phone/tablet or WINDOWS PC. I run mine on an unused KINDLE FIRE.

Welcome! I bought my 17 ECODIESEL December 30 2019, she had just over 14000 miles, I love it! I I did a stage 1 tune from SOFAKINGTUNED with the rally trans tune & it woke it up! Enjoy the new to you ride & stay safe!

Straight pipe after the DPF & SCR would allow a stock tune, but be of little benefit. To splve the problems inherent of smogged diesels you need to tune.

You can do a stage 1 & just tune it back stock for emissions test. With stage 1 EGR shut off you can leave the equipment intact & turned off.

It's a 17, I don't think it was eligible was it?

FYI, MOPAR filters are made in China. I order my oil filters from IDPARTS.COM, the brand is UFI, & they are supposedly the same filter that mopar buys, I did check the filter against an OEM & it looked identical & even shared part numbers. I use OEM MOPAR filters because some people have had...
