Good morning from the snowy (and ..brrrr...cold) Okanagan Valley in BC....
With respect to hearing and reading the updates from everyone, there's lots of good and encouraging news and experiences..To diverge a bit from the topic, I've been following several different sources on problems with the...
MMM..lots of food for thought here....Local ads here have an assortment of sellers advertising stock 20" 1500 rims, some mounted already with All-Season (questionable for winter conditions here) and a couple with "slightly used" winter tread....but the stock rim set-up is probably the way for me...
Yep..you're right.....week before last went thru the whole process of uninstalling the stock wheels and ....trying....the 16 inchers.....needless to say...LOL...
I have since sold the smaller tire/rim set up...
I'm having to start from scratch now...
Thanks for your reply...live and learn...

I've a question for the group....it's getting colder these days here in British Columbia, and so thoughts of winter tires/rims are floating around my head..
I've traded a 2008 Dodge Dakota (in May of this year) for my 2016 Eco...this Eco has the factory 20'' rims/tires, and I've a set of mounted...
G'morning from the West Side of the Continent...just my .02..Don't drop by here as much as others...however I do completely agree with those others.....The information that is being shared and passed arount plus the tech articles has been great and I do thank Boost'N for the prodigious work that...
Accidently, on purpose stumbled onto this topic...please YES, put my name down for a shirt, and, grey with the accepted Logo would be great..!

Okaaaaay..2 sensors now replaced..exhaust gas sensor replaced (second time ) and a catalytic temp sensor replaced...The shop also upgraded (updated..2nd time) the software (it was out of date) on the computer. I wonder if it's a product (program) from that big company just south of us...
Are the EcoDiesel.Com stickers still available?
Would like to get one please.....

My .02 cents....the engine warning light is also bugging me these days...my 2016 still has new (low) miles....under 4000 kms.....and the dealer has already replaced an exhaust gas sensor once, and now it's booked in for another service on Tuesday of next week...for the same problem.
Both my...
Revisions....mmmmmmmmmmmmm I did get some firm info from my dealer an hour or so ago (after dropping the truck off for some warranty work) that THEIR recommend 1st service oil change occurs at 6 months or 8000 kms...so I'll keep in mind whether it's 5w30 or 5w40..
Ram.ca website didn't show...
It'll be interesting what I will hear from my local Kelowna BC dealer tomorrow as my 1500 is in for a warranty sensor fix...
Supplement? what supplement...interesting subject everyone and timely too, as there's a first oil change service for me soon..
Thanks for all the info..
:)
Thanks.. :)
I have a recurring (now) engine warning lite...when I had it looked at 4 days ago, I was told it was an O2 sensor and so it was reset...also a software upgrade was installed...however the light came back on as I started it up yesterday AM....so we'll see what the prognosis is...
It's really informative as to how the first oil change item is being covered here....reading this info avidly...as I've only just purchased the truck and have little or no discussion with the dealership (that I purchased from) on maintenance items...ie a basic service such as an oil change..due...
Signed up earlier today...thot I'd sit down and read some of the going's on...Living here in BC in the Okanagan Valley gives me lots of choices of which direction to go when we hook up our TT, and having only made one trip (on the way home from Vancouver after purchasing our Ram) so far, we've...
