I run BFG KO2s on my stock 20" Rim with stock sizing except as bit wider 285.
Very good all around tire on and off the road, amazing in slush and minimal hydroplaning.
The fuel economy I get is 24MPG AVG and 95% City driving.
One thing is that the tires are noisier than the original KOs.
My 5cents.
Gentlemen, I hate to break it to everyone but the only way to get anything more out of out trucks is the new Turbo Kit, the stock one is just way to small, all the $1000,s spend on mediocre upgrades wont do much and wont be efficient. This is not CUMMINS!
I completely Confirm the Video, I have 2 friends that I hunt with all the time and they both own the F150 3.5L EcoBoosts, we always go together and tow together small utility trailers, I always have twice the gas tank they got left, and its Diesel :)
I run GDE for the past 6months and I average 11-12L/100KM which is 24MPG AVG and that's 95% city driving at Sealevel.
Mind you I do not drive easy, I like for the truck to be responsive and go, so no feathering on my part.
A month Ago I towed a 3000lbs trailer for 500KM through the Rockies and...
I installed K&N but just a drop in cuz its a good filter and reusable. As for the tube, unless you want to hear more turbo whine, i wouldnt waste the money on the kit.
Next to GDE i wouldnt go with anything else, unless you deside to go turbo upgrade and do everything :)
Love every minute of it. Dont remember life before it :) Fuel economy hovers from 10.5L to 11L per 100km in city cycle. Didnt drive enough before the tune to confirm or dispute.
I enjoy every minute of it. Truck became effortless at lower rpm.
Truck pulls realy strong in 4th and 5th.
1st Regen arrived at 750km still waiting for second for comparission.
Fuel economy remained at around 10.5L/100 city. Didnt do any hwy driving since the tune.
But i tend to drive it a...
Well here it is.
Id like to correct my original stock numbers message. The Stock Torque was just over 334 not 384 as i mis-typed.
And BTW Dyno used was a MD Mustang Dynometer (2/4 wheel-drive model)
All pulls were done in 4th Gear.
Gains overall are pretty much what they were suppose to be...
Black 2015 Durango Citadel 5.7Hemi w/ 36,000kms
I bought a 2015 Grand Cherokee SRT new and my eife claimed it as family car, so i traded her Durango :)
Couldnt be happier.
Long awaited GDE ECM arrived!
Swap took about 10min with 2 sockets 8mm & 10mm as expected.
Did what instructions said. Odometer, oil life and DEF guage remained as before the swap. Regen was forced right away and the rest is history.
The truck definately seems smoother and quicker, shifts like...
Thread not intended to bash anyone or anything.
Title could be better now that i look at it, lets change it to "GDE Tune Before & After"
Have not seen any independent actual postings of Before and After so descided to make one.
As I said not expecting anything in a $1K MOD.
My Cummins cost...
Part 1 of my Tuning Post.
Just did Close to 10 runs on the Dyno on my Truck in complete stock configuration.
Had a hard time keeping it in gear, it kept downshifting at full throttle even though in Manual Mode :(
But attached is the most stable run.
As you can see 206hp at 3550rpm and...
Im definately getting the CTS2 now but im just wondering.
Where does it read off the EGTs? With all the Cummins i had (last being 2012 6.7) i always used a pyro probe, never could trust factory sensors since the ECU couldnt realy do anything about EGTs getting up there anyway so i figured no...
Sorry to barge in on a conversation but thats some strange claims.
Might your EcoDiesel be one of a kind?
You do know that an HFE Pentastar V6 Ram is faster then our truck stock right? Even Dodge admits it.
As for Cummins, I had owned 4 of them from 98s all the way to 2012 models. And all of...
Hi everyone im new to this forum.
Just bought my 2016 Ram Longhorn ECO New
Very dissapointed straight from the lot on performance, turbo lag, torque misplaced and to seal the deal Prius took me off the line at a red.
Scoured the world wide web for weeks for Tuning info but kept finding GDE...
