Wish I could help but all I can say is something had to get screwed up. My 2021 hada fuel pump change in February and put on 10,000 miles since. I saw no difference in mpg maybe even improved but the increase also came about the time fuel was switched from winter blend. Really bad when something...

I know where you’re at. My rear tires wear about double on the inside of the tread compared to the outside they said the alignment is as close to perfect as possible and won’t admit anything wrong. Their advice is buy a new set of tires this fall when they run a special. Also have a problem...

Hi John, as long as I have you and you seem to be pretty knowledgeable. Do you have any thoughts on rear tires wearing more on the inside?

Wouldn’t it tell you that the factory tune was removed and then reinstalled?

    Rear tire wear

I have a 2021 Laramie at 20,000 miles right rear tire was at 4/32 s on the inside, and six on the outside. I told them to rotate out first oil change but later found out dealer did not rotate them so it was in that position the entire time. Dealer did an alignment check and said there is no...

When the dealer connects to the truck computer I would think it would tell them what’s going on

    5w20 vs 15w20

I’m not claiming to be an expert on oil but Duh the recommended oil is 5W 40 and I believe once the engine is warmed up the 40 is what matters. So how is 15W 20 thicker except at startup which is when you need it thin for quick lubrication

    Burning the old oil?

Ya at about $200 per change. I’d change my own with an aftermarket that’s probably better than the Mopar but would worry about warranty.

    Burning the old oil?

That’s where the fuel with additives comes in. If you think you need to add a little oil to your fuel at least use new oil.

    Burning the old oil?

I've been running diesels on my farm f over 40 years and even with the older engines quality clean fuel was always a priority. Even now in my Ram I run premium fuel which costs ten cents per gallon more but isn’t much when you’re paying $3 to $4 per gallon. I can’t believe anyone would be cheap...

    Car Wash

Thanks for your info. I’ve been running diesels on the farm since I was 15 (a long time) and know water is bad in fuel. Got the locking caps from Geno’s and they are very well made.

    Car Wash

Sounds like a good idea even if just to keep some xxxxxxx from dumping crap in your tank. Are these available for the new no cap style ? Thanks

    Car Wash

I went through the car wash yesterday and used the “soft touch brush “ after I pulled out I noticed the fuel door was open. No water sitting in there but also went through the blower for drying. I’m due for fuel filter change soon anyway but just wondering if anyone else had this happen. If...
