Hello Everyone,
Have to replace my intake manifold and I’m planning on replacing the water pump while I’m that deep in the engine as it has 140000 miles on it. Was wondering if anyone has purchased an aftermarket water pump and how it work.

here is an article I found. Also saw on line where the scr clamp will break and cause the harness to the aftertreatment to melt. I don’t know how common of an issue this is though.
It’s been a minute since I’ve done one on a ram but if I remember right you can take the tire off and may have to loose the dust cover to get to it. Let me know if it works out for you or not ! I don’t know if you hooked a scanner up to the truck or not yet but it should tell you what wheel is...
Oh ok so sounds like an EGR valve failure. I can find a EGR valve for a 2014-2018 but from what I can tell online it looks like the valve is integrated into the cooler after 2018. I’m guessing that why they have to replace the whole cooler. Sorry man that a stupid design. I have to replace egr...
Could check the wheel spin sensor and ensure they aren’t damaged and are pushed all the way into the hub. A medium size of hose pilers are great tool for removing and installing the sensor. I’ve also seen them get dirty with brake dust and not be able to read the tone ring. If they are dirty...
I’m guessing the reason they want to replace it is because it is cranked internal. Could be just starting to crank and not consuming a lot of coolant you should see some other signs of failure though I had a good article that went though the failure symptoms. I’ll find it and post it on here .
Were you able to figure anything out. Idk if you have check the evaporator temp sensor but if it’s malfunctioning it won’t like the compressor kick on. You can place a jumper wire in the plug.
Were you able to figure anything out ? When is the last time you change the battery? I would think you would have to be a very and wiring issue to loose communication with all of those modules. Also are you able to see the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet Nox sensor ?
