    Using Additives?

I've been using the Hot Shot EDT (every day treatment) and the anti gel formula for our couple of months of winter. I had 85k miles when the high pressure fuel pump was replaced under recall without failure or codes. Just replaced the intake at 105k and honestly build up was not too bad but I...

The 3 most common locations are: water pump to block (2 o-rings), 3 wat valve on passenger side front lower area near bottom of engine, and the really hard one - hose under the intake providing coolant to the turbo - a lot of work to replace as the built the engine and truck around it. New Guy.

Both times I have had that code it has been the def injector and entry port being salted over. I used a small steam cleaner to remove the buildup.

Eco Diesel Engine maintenance and upgrades

Exact same here, Green Diesel Tune, Rotella T6 5w/40 only but I also use a wix WF10245 fuel filter. Also clean the DEF injector and where it mounts with steam if you get a P20EE code or every 50,000 miles. At every 60k change the trans to fluid (Mopar only)and filter. I recommend the...
