When I get truck back on the road I'm going to do a full delete to it. EGRs kill diesel engines. I only run Wix filters. I am a fairly knowledgeable shadetree mechanic. My wife was putting Lucas fuel additive in it for a while. She said it was a hassle to keep some in the truck.
I have been meticulous with the maintenance on this engine, oil change every 3-4k. Ne er thought about the engine flush. I will do that with the new engine.
