Brady, you are correct on what I did. I sure did hate it when i had the engine issue. The dealer and F/C were great on the warranty but my confidence was destroyed in the product.
My 2015 Ecodiesel spun a rod bearing at 47,500 miles. The dealership had done all the oil changes. They put a brand new engine in without ME having to ask or demand anything. The experience was as good as it could be considering I lost an engine. They put me in a brand new Hemi for almost three...
48,000 MILES. If it is a rod I will be very very disappointed. All I have ever done is brag on this truck. Is there a site I can go to and find out about these bottom end failures? I just want to be informed when I go to the dealer. How long is the engine warrantied for? Thanks.
Thank you John. Mine is 18. Yesterday afternoon I had driven about 35 miles on the Interstate pulling a small trailer with a Polaris Ranger. When I got off the Interstate and was sitting at the red light it sounded like the engine was knocking. It only sounds like that idling and at low speed...
He did exactly what you said to do. No more issues but he did change the fuel filter around 1000 miles. He also told me his mileage seemed to be down a little. Thanks for all your suggestions.
I have a friend with a 2104 ECODIESEL and he accidently put less than a gallon of def into his diesel tank that had nine gallons of diesel before he realized it and shut off the def pump.. He started the engine and ran it about thirty seconds. He had it towed to the garage. What bad news should...
2015 RAM LARAMIE CREW CAB 4X4. 25,000 miles and trouble free. I did notice a fuel mileage drop from 26 to 24 mpg during very cold weather here in the South. Does anyone use a fuel additive on a regular basis to help keep the injectors clean? If so what brand and why? Thanks.
I have noticed a decrease in mileage by a couple of mpg over the past month. Does cooler or colder weather effect the Eco Diesel MPG? Any thought or suggestions are appreciated. 2015 LARAMIE CREW 4X4.
i will take that bet. The lights work fine hooked up to my old GMC Sierra. They also work with two other vehicles. I think the truck wiring from the factory is the issue. i will know by next week. Thanks
ZMAN079, I have an adapter just like the one you showed. I have actually purchased two different ones and got the same results. i think the factory wiring to the round 7 pin is hooked up wrong.
My Laramie came with a 7 connector round plug for towing. My boat trailer has a 5 pin flat plug. I bought an adapter to go from a seven pin to a five pin. My boat trailer running lights work but the signals and brake lights do not. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Hopefully my next picture will have my Laramie hooked up to the Red Ranger! This is my first attempt at posting a picture. Hope this Ole Ga. Boy got it right!
