So, after 4 years and 101,000 flawless miles, I'm finally being bent over a barrel by FCA, like so many others. The story:
- Built up 95,000 blissful miles on my '15 in Georgia, the rest in WA
- Serviced at the Thomson, GA dealership every 10,000 miles
- Moved to WA state this year. Serviced...
Benito is right. I tow a trailer similar to yours, about the same weight. I was seeing 9-11 mpg until I slowed down from 65-70 to 55-60. Now I see closer to 14-15. Takes a little longer to get there, so bring a little extra music.
42K with zero issues. Daily commuter, 7,000 lb camper-puller, family limo, junk & stuff hauler, this thing does it all in style! The only thing I hate about it is the payment!
Mine does it too, but not 100% of the time. 30,000 otherwise trouble-free miles. I don't worry about it, but if you get yours worked on, please let us know how that process was.
The ED engine is what made the difference for my first pickup purchase - nothing existed before it that gave a full sized truck the capability to be an economical commuter, family hauler, camper-puller and pack mule all in one package. The HD trucks wouldn't have worked for all four "modes"...
