That is a handy thing to have a buyer all set before.
I've had my Hemi for a few days now and am missing the "range to empty" numbers the ED showed. But at least I found a truck with exactly the options I wanted. When I got the Eco, I couldn't find any with the Rambox, but fixed that this time.
I ended up taking the deal. It was just too good to pass up. I'm going to miss the fuel economy but with warranty expiring, and a long commute, I have heard enough stories of people waiting on even simple repairs for months. I hope these things get sorted out because I'll be keeping up on it.
I have put on 105 000 Km's since August 1, 2015 and have had an average fuel economy of 9.46 L/100 km (24.864 mpg). But I wanted to get a new truck while I have a good trade in value, and the deals right now near me were too good to pass up. So I am getting a 17 Hemi Big Horn to hold me over...
I have had my '15 ED for about a year now, and put on about 60 000 Km. My overall fuel economy is 9.35 L/100km (30.2 mpg)
I had a 3.6L gas Ram before this and the best I ever did was about 10.6 L/100 Km (26.7 mpg). I don't have any concrete numbers but my guess is I averaged around 12 L/100 Km...
I have had mine since the end of July. Almost 14000 Km's on it. My overall average fuel consumption so far is 9.05 L/100 km.
I did hear of problems, and my salesman even mentioned the problems himself. But he said what seems to echo on here. If you have a big commute you might be better off.
The V6 would usually give me somewhere between 10.5-12 L/100 km. A friend of mine told me about the app, Road Trip, when I got this truck. So I will have a better idea of overall mileage and cost compared to the 13.
Most of my driving is on a highway driving a good distance commute.
I traded in my '13 SLT Pentastar with 115 000 Km's for a '15 Eco. I was happy with the fuel economy on that one. This one is even better. My last tank was 8.41 L/100 km.
