There are only 7 reviews about the Ecodiesel transmission tune on the GDE website. I'm wondering if anyone on this forum has this mod can attest to the good/bad of this tune. In terms of real-world performance, how much more does the GDE transmission tune offer over the standard GDE Hot Tune?

I'm also considering dropping the oil pan in hopes of cleaning out any soot sediment. Thoughts on that?

Yeah, I saw a video by moparecodiesel on YouTube where he cleaned his manually. Honestly, I don't have skill to remove the intake manifold, and I don't have the patience to scrub it clean. :cool:

I think if I get the GDE mod and replace my intake manifold to prevent sludge from dripping into the combustion chamber, the truck will be fine. I agree with @carlhenry, the Hemi eats up gas too quickly.

For what it's worth, in the state of North Carolina, you only need a safety inspection when you have a diesel engine. No emissions testing is required.
