My U0284 appears to have gone away on its own despite the shutters being removed from the truck with the actuator only being bolted to the core support plugged in to the harness

Good to hear.
I’ve diagnosed my Active Shutters are not cycling properly. A new ACS assembly list for $400 I can buy for $305, as dealer says they don’t offer the actuator separately though I found it online for 220$
Broke down and bought a used one off the bay but don’t know when I’ll receive...
Kind of ironic I just found U0284 on my 2015 Ecodiesel today
Was warmer this AM but temp dropped and wet snow covered the front end of my truck.
Nothing in stored messages just the solid cel.
I’ve never been successful getting my cheap elm327 to connect to the truck
Thank you

So I decided I will buy it out and look to trade prior to the 5 year mark maybe sooner than later.
I appreciate everyone's suggestions.
Thank you!

Kind of interesting that two dealers have mentioned FCA will not give them a dealer buy out figure and one was emphatic it must be shipped back to FCA?

I thought a number of people experiencing lower end issues had good OA prior to failure?
What is very interesting is Chrysler capital will not discuss dealer buyout of the lease.
Not that I believe this but multiple dealers claim the truck would sell at auction for thousands less than my lease...
My lease is up 3/5 and I was leaning towards keepin it.
2015 Big Horn, Crew Cab, Long a Rambox, sensors fore and aft, heated seat and steering wheel, 8A nav not activated, tow mirrors, controller and dimming mirrors
Paid for 45k sitting at 38k miles.
The bearing issues etc are making me wary...
I didn't realize that politics was appropriate in this forum
Keep in mind there are ton of Americans on the dole regardless of political affiliation . Yes this does include republicans and "conservatives"

$31.00
Funny thing my dealer sold to me for $40.00 but said the same thing and he did me a favor yet the campaign ones are sent direct to the customer so this I do not understand
