Ram showed off the 2019 Ram 1500 truck last night at the auto show. The "leaked" photos seem to be right on target showcasing the redesign.

Motortrend has an excellent article with pictures!

The inside has a massive 12" screen!

As noted in a different thread this morning, Ram said the EcoDiesel will be available in late 2019, or early 2020. "Ram head Mike Manley says when Diesel engine arrives, automaker will “reclaim all of the claims we have.” (Taking shots at GM & Ford, which recently announced at least 30 mpg).

Was just coming to show off the screen also, looks like a Tesla dash now.

Also panoramic sunroof to match Ford, but Chevy admitted they are not competing in that segment, retaining standard size sunroof.

The sliding modular Center console is a nice touch except it's worthless once cluttered with stuff.

Again 4" overall stretch, same as Chevy puts even the short box into 20ft territory.

I really like the updated rear flooring, flat deck with no drive shaft tunnel, retained the in floor boxes, although the actual under seat molded bin is severely shrunk even with it extended. 8° of rear seat recline is great though.

Here is a nice video of updated features:

Honestly that "new" ranger doesn't look like much of a redesign, but rather a facelift. Ford hasn't competed in the mid size truck segment in the states, though still strongly marketed elsewhere. I saw a bunch of them in the Marshall islands last year and aside from the 2019 trend of every truck having a pinched grill it looks pretty similar.

I like that they brought up the bumper but I do not like that it resulted in a 2 piece plastic bumper valance to fill in below the headlamps

Ecodiesel is available in the new Jeep wrangler lineup, and will be in the Jeep scrambler, they are sticking with it. It generated a ton of revenue for mopar they won't be dropping it anytime soon. Now they will be the ones prompting the tried and true light duty diesel card against the powerstroke v6 and DuraMaxx I6 which will have their fair share of failures. Exhaust issues, mismarketing to a city commuter. Just growing pains of anything new.

Anyways, just trying to say not to expect a discontinuance.
