At a Bit of a Loss on what I Think is an Electrical Issue

Hello all. First time reaching out for some help. I have a 2017 Ecodiesel that has been deleted. Bought the truck as it is now in 2019. About a year ago, I had stop to run an errand and when I put the truck into reverse, the rpms dropped real low and it would not move. Put the truck in park and turned off the key. Re-started, put in reverse and off I went. This started to happen sporadically over the next couple of weeks and the solution was to put into park and restart. Figured out that it was the battery since it would never go over 11 volts. for 10 months, no issues. Started happening again a few months ago. After talking with a mechanic friend, he said it is probably my alternator. Truck has a little over 100,000 miles. Replaced the alternator. Problem still persists, but more often when it is colder. Some times the rpms drop like a limp mode and sometimes it just hard stalls. Had the alternator tested and it shows it is good. Battery tests good. Check the fuses, no issues there. Replaced the negative cable on the battery. No codes at all. Anyone have any thoughts? Part of me wants to just get a new battery. When I am running on the highway now, the voltage never gets over 13.5 (a little guess looking on the dash) and never reaches 14v. Aside from this issue, the truck runs great. I am able to drive when needed by 'cheating' into neutral when driving and giving it a little pedal when I shift into gear.
