Charging issue

I have a 2015 that's not charging. I'm getting 13.7-14 volts at the b+ terminal on the alternator. No continuity between the b+ wire on alternator and the wire connected to the 250 amp fuse on the battery. I assume this is just a straight wire and should have continuity? Is it possible that wire is bad? Just run another high gage wire from alternator to battery?

There's a bunch of ideas about a similar situation as yours here : https://www.ram1500diesel.com/threads/alternator-wiring.73924/
From the sound of things, our 4th gens charging is still dictated by the ECU - like a "command" or "Demand" based on other factors. There's a simple diagram in that thread also for gas engines, but it ballparks the entire system to start running traces elsewhere.
