Ecodiesel Electronic Throttle Control Warning Light

My truck quit started cutting out on me as I was going down the freeway yesterday. A check electronic throttle control warning came on. I made it about another twenty miles after trying a handful of times trying to get to a good place to possibly leave it instead of on the side of the freeway. Anyway, had it towed to a dealership and it’s the weekend so nothing happening for a couple of days. Just trying to get an idea of what the fix may cost? Also, does anyone know if this is covered by the extended warranty from the settlement? Thanks.

Have you had all the recalls done? Did the check engine light come on?

Yes, the check engine light came on. I have had recalls done including the one for the settlement, which is how I found out about it.

Did they reflash your ecm for tone ring failure or replace it? Depending on what code was for, would be if it’s covered or not.

They haven’t done anything yet because of it being the weekend.
