Hi,
I recently purchased a new 2019 eco diesel and it broke down on Friday night. The thing overheated so bad that is almost caught fire. The fan was running on a cool night so I should have clued in. Shortly after, the coolant light came on but it was too late. The engine was boiling and died out. Not only am I upset because it’s brand new, (bought it in late July) but mostly because there was no sign or indicator lamp that appeared in the dash to tell me the prestone levels were low. I brought it back to the dealer and they can keep it. With all the posts I am been reading, they should be ashamed of selling such as problematic vehicule and not telling consumers upfront over the poor track record.

MartyLeonard1987, I here Ya on the 3.0VM Black Cloud....You had 5 years of problematic History 👎. The risk in owning the 630/3.0 that is sold on America's soil is Equal to China handling of Corona.

Its 2020, ashamed is NOT part of the America's Educational process in Public education or its Colleges the last 20+ Years.

Their are only 4 Types of 3.0s , Hero's , Zero's , those that are running and those that are puking. I do Agree Fiat is blind to the shorting comings of the 3.0 History. The 3.0 is on its way out hopefully soon.

My Advice is to Take your loss sell and Buy Gas until Fiat replace the 3.0 with FPT Powerplant.

Sorry to hear about your truck, keep us posted on what happened and what will they do to fix it, I have a 2020 rebel with the diesel with over 5500km with no issues . I also know several people with the older 3L Diesel with no issues.
