Hello all. Thank you for this group!
I have a 2017 Ram 1500 with 124000 miles on it. Haven’t had a single issue with it till yesterday. I was driving down the road and my truck just shut off like when you lose a timing belt. Coasted to the side of the road and tried to restart and it was like the battery was low. Hooked my jump starter on the battery and tried to restart the engine but would not run. Engine seemed to have compression so I don’t think it jumped time.
Does this sound like anything familiar to yall?

Thank you for showing me this! I have received recall forms and have taken my truck to the dealership for them to be done. The dealership has to schedule it a month in advance and wants to keep the truck for 3-4 days. It’s hard to do without a vehicle for that long. I need a vehicle.
The last recall notice I received was for the high pressure fuel pump. I haven’t received one for the crankshaft position. I looked on the back of the notice I have and in small letters it says I have an open recall 66A which it the one you showed me. I’ll be calling someone Monday morning for sure. Thank you again!
