Truck Year
2016
Hello to all,

I own a 2016 Ram ecodiesel 1500 with 183000 km (113 700 miles) Since 3 or 4 years, once in a while, when I start the engine it stop 2 ou 3 seconds after. Unable to start the truck after. But I am able to start it right after the illuminated dash turn off. No code. And after, the truck run like usual. The recall 66A (tone wheel)has been made within the last rear. The HPFP is new from last marsh under the recall Z46. To start the truck, I need a FOB. No push to start button in this truck. The lift pump is a new one since 2 weeks.

Furthermore, since december 2024, an intermittent issue give me a lot of trouble. Crank no start issue. Solve this week by bypassing the relay for the lift pump. The connector under the TIPM was melted. Unable to know if the integrated relay was affected. So, they didn't take chance and have bypassed the relay.

Any idea on that?

Andre
