The high pressure fuel pump is on the front of the passenger cylinder Bank so pull your foam and get looking.

I know this is an older thread, but i think I may be having a similar issue.

Within the last week or two, I've been occasionally getting a fuel smell and sometimes after driving & being stopped for a while (30-40 minutes, maybe?) I find a small spot (2-3 inch diameter) of fuel just to the inside of my passenger front tire, under the alternator when looking from above.

I had the fuel pump recall done this past spring, May I think.
Could this be related? Or is there something else fuel related on the passenger side that could be the culprit?
