Gen 1 here, as to install shouldn't be different. Prior to install STG 2 SFt tune.
Reached out to them, GONE. Optimus claims to have "taken over" SFT, they simply replied no tune for that intake and ghosted me. MRT got my money for a new tune, told me they can tune it but it's been a real struggle to get direction or help in the last month.
So advice- verify with tuner that they can address the issues that will arise.

Hope you have better luck on tune..
Since I already removed butterfly on inlet, and have no egr hooked up..the banks manifold will clean up the intake area. I am not expecting a hp boost, only cleaning up more complications.. Trying to simplify and remove potential issues.
Can you believe an intake manifold that has an electric motor sensor controlled, that moves butterflys on 1/2 the ports that has to become a problem as the carbon -pumped in hardens ??? Look at all the pictures of tear down engines...
Sooooo I have now removed the carbon in pump (EGR) the choke the exhaust (DPF) the build backpressure to reduce hp and increase fuel burn (CAT) have 3" ss from turbo outlet to stock muffler -yes I know better with glasspack will get to that later..
This is now a tiny DOHC diesel with high turbo boost ...A clean running powerplant.
This engine now runs great, has a lot of oomph and excellent mileage...I am very satisfied with my build....It was not easy..but worth it.
