Hello all,
I just picked up a certified pre-owned '18 Ram ecodiesel with only 45k miles and 1 previous owner. I go through trucks like there's no tomorrow, but I've also never joined a forum before. I'm hoping that I will find enough here to give me the desire to hold onto this one (8th truck in 11 yrs).
About 1,000 miles after buying the truck, the DPF was replaced, the current recall for the fuel issue has no solution from FCA yet, and I've started to notice some ruff acceleration (like it's starving for fuel).
I'm at 50K miles now and will be doing my first oil change with this truck, to include fuel filter. A recommended tips, tricks, or specific products to use? Any areas to look at outside of oil & fuel?
Feel free to use "gear head" language. I went to Universal Technical Institute (UTI) back in 2002, and was a "professional" mechanic til around 2010.
