So... we all know that forcing a diesel engine to eat it's own soot leads to premature engine bearing failure - just look around the forums for 'dead engine' threads. It's safe to say the EPA single-handedly ruined the reputations of countless engine producers, including our humble little Pasta-diesel.
This video hit my feed - he's the kinda guy who seems to have a finger on the pulse of insider chatter... then again, could it be simple rumor-mill? I wonder if this will make deletes a little cheaper since demand may almost certainly explode and people don't have to doctor up their own, or wander into Canada for one.
I should also note, I'm in a diesel-emissions exempt state - your legality mileage may vary. The days of constant annoying regen messages on the way to work are almost over!
