Just purchased a 2016 ram ecodiesel Laramie limited on advice from a friend. New to this forum today. I am frustrated because out of the year I've owned it, it has been in the shop for 6 months. It originally went in for a check engine light, had them change glow plugs while fixing it. Long story short, they stripped out a glow plug hole and had to replace head. Now that is fixed the check engine light came back on, took it in and they told me it was plugged air filter. Replaced air filter, same thing. Told by shop it was #6 glow plug, had that fixed. Same check engine light. Now they are telling me it's low boost and that they want $3800 to replace turbo. Looking for advice and guidance please.
