hello all I've been eyeing the ecodiesel for awhile now and I went to purchase one and they were off the market due to the recall now that they are on the market again and I'm again shopping around for a truck I'm like 99.9% sure this will be my new addition to the family. My concern is I do 60 percent city driving and my commute is about 10 minutes as far as soot and the regen don't want to make this choice and it be a bad one but I do average about 1200 miles a month. All advice taken.

Btw... I'm looking in to purchasing a 17 and I plan on lifting it 4 inches with the rough country lift and adding 35s on it the day I bring it home from th dealer as well as getting the gde tune that first week.... any parameter watchers available yet for the 17s?

Welcome. Overall on my 8 mile commute (one way) I've never had a problem with regens running. But, I often hop on the interstate for a 1 hour + trip just about every weekend... so I give the truck a chance.
