I have a 2014 Ram Ecodiesel with 160000 km on it. Other than a transmission position sensor and a frozen DEF tank the truck has been trouble free. I have been changing the oil at 16000 km as per factory recommend interval. My initial idea was to keep the truck until the wheels fell off. Assumed that the diesel would easily outlive the other components. Call it the Ecodiesel premium. Some of the stories about engine problems has me starting to think I should have saved money and potential trouble by going with the 5.7 hemi instead. What's your opinion on the long term longevity of the Ecodiesel.

Welcome, you know what they say about opinions... :D

I would suggest reading around the forums here as we've got plenty of topics covering that same subject.
