Odd backfire sounding noise

I have a 2017 ecodiesel once it reaches about 2,000 RPM and anything above it sounds kind of like it’s backfiring and lots of black smoke pours out the tailpipe. I seen on my EzLynk it shuts the turbo veins down and throws an under boost code but Once the codes are cleared and the veins are back to normal it runs fine. I think it could be my MAP or MAF sensor but I’m not sure.
