p0191 code

had hpfp recall done. This code keeps coming up with it stating a permanent code. Sometimes will clear other times it doesn't. cleaned battery terminals, checked plug on fuel rail. fuel pressure regulator or just have the permanent code removed and see what else happens?

The "permanent" code will go away once the problem is fixed and you drive the truck for a day or two. Erasing the code allows you to t-shoot one change at a time to see if the CEL comes back.
