RAM 2015 EcoDiesel EGR Delete - Sasquatch Stage 1 vs Entire STG 1&2?

I have a 2015 RAM 1500 Laramie EcoDiesel (ED). This truck has just over 62K miles and over the past 3 years it has been over 4 months getting repairs to the Diesel Particulate Filter. I just got it back after a 6 weeks visit to the service center and the issue that was "fixed" wasn't and it is back in again.

I've read a bit on the ED forum about EGR delete and checked out the Sasquatch conversion kit. What gains will I have if I just do STG 1? I believe that the STG 2 also requires a ECM update that looks to be around $750 to $1000; also if I want to keep my stock ECM I would need to dish out an additional $650. For those that have done this what are your thoughts? Secondarily, I still have extended warranty and will loose the warranty by making this change. I am just tired of having this ED in the shop when I want/need to use it.

Please let me know your thoughts. I am also thinking about invoking the lemon law with this ED as it has been a problem since I bought it, but really don't want the hassle.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and opinions. Also attaching some screenshots of the error codes that show up on my ED.

Darrell, I just did the Stg 1 delete last week. I have 31K mi on my JGC. and Stg one is sufficient unless you have a coolant leak on your EGR cooler.

The pic shows the EGR Diffuser and wow was it gunked up at 31K mi.

So, I recommend just doing the Stg 1 delete at this time.

Just installed the stage 1. I have 3200 total miles but also installed the GDE hot tune at 600 miles. So the EGR has been shut off since the 600 mile mark. Pic of my swirl values.

Stage 1 and 2 require a tune. Stage 1 just allows the egr tube to be removed..thus keeping the cooler intact. The cooler is prone to leaking tho over time so best to do stage 2 delete.
