so i failed to mention in my post that i went to my local dealership in ansonia, Ct and gave them the error code i got from autozone P1D30 and they could'nt tell me what it stood for, anyone out there know ?

That's the code for low oil viscosity. This code will trigger when the oil change is overdue. I'm going to guess the dealer forgot to reset the oil life after performing the AEM. The truck will not regen with this code active and will put you in limp mode and eventually the DPF will reach 100%.

Hi John, thanks so much for your input, I do a complete oil change every 5K even though it’s recommended at 10K, sounds like an easy fix if what you say is true. Thank again

I think that's what likely happened. Part of the AEM is to reset the oil life and I have already seen this overlooked for a few others. I too hope it's as simple as that. Let us know.

Thanks, I brought it to my local garage and they cleared the error, took it for a 20 mile run and everything turned out great.
I don’t do my own oil changes, I take the truck to a local garage, much more friendly and the cost is significantly less and still using the recommended material. Btw, I change the oil every 5K instead of the recommended 10K.
