Replacing Uconnect with different infotainment

Has anyone replaced the Uconnect with a different infotainment system that allows you to add the apps you want, etc? Up here in Alaska we do not have the ability to connect to Uconnect and basically it’s just an expensive radio with touch screen and I want to have the ability to add front cameras, along with streaming apps. I spend a lot of time driving and parking and waiting.
