Hello. I am considering an ecodiesel. I am here mainly to do research and to see what y’all are saying and thinking about the ecodiesel.

i have noticed a fair number of posts about “blown” engines but very few remarks about the cause. I would like to hear more about the causes of these blown motors and what if anything is being done to address the cam sprocket slippage.

Welcome! Most are under warranty and FCA sends them back to be tested, and the consumer never really finds out what happens unfortunately.
