Tone wheel sensor

So is there a recall on the tone wheel sensor? the dealership says they can flash the system, which they did but I'm still having issues. So I'm not sure if this is something I'll just have to take care of myself or if they just want something for the service dept to do and charge me an arm and a kidney

Do search, You will find that 1000s of 3.0s have had tone ring failure.
