Tow haul mode

If I drive the eco in the city, I tend to use the tow haul mode. I find it more responsive, little higher rpms, and a little more fuel. But I have never had a dpf filter full yet. I have a Gde tune and 30000 miles in eco is this normal?

Yes, that means the system is working properly. It's designed to never alert the user unless it has to.

I don't use tow-haul, I simply block it out of 8th gear. Seems to work really good.
