Shavings in DEGAS Tank

Hello All!

My DEGAS cap broke off in the tank. After removing it...rather violently...there are now plastic shavings from cap assembly in the tank. Probably a dozen tiny pieces. Should I be concerned?

the sock on the end of the fuel pump should stop them if any get through the fuel filter should stop the rest but it is your decision if u have 2o in for warranty the dealer is going 2 make a very big issue out of it

Well damn...I think I can get them out with a turkey baster, as they are just sitting in the lower surface of the tank. Thanks!

Carl I’m no expert but I believe that’s antifreeze in that tank! I’d pop the tank off and rinse it out. Worst case you’ll need 1 gal antifreeze.

I did exactly that, about an hour ago. I made a mountain out of a mole hill lol. Thank you Sir!
