My money is on the short turbo coolant line under the intake manifold. That rubber hose can only last so long under the heat and pressure; eventually, it leaks onto the V of the motor, and initially, the leak is slow enough that the coolant boils off. At some point, it will leak worse, and you'll see coolant dripping off the trans housing.
I'm pretty handy, but not a mechanic, and was able to repair it myself after many hours and discomfort. You will probably want to replace the intake at that time because of the sludge buildup in it. The dealer charge is typically close to $4k, but they remove the truck cab to access the small hose and connections.
Some fixes don't involve removing the cab, and there are many videos, etc., on the topic. Since it is a common issue, you might search for a mechanic who has already done the procedure. Like many repairs, the first time is difficult, subsequent repairs are easier.
