2020 Big Horn 4x4 Towing Capacity

I would wait for TC to chime in here but it sounds like we had the exact same truck. I moved a friend's toy hauler, about 8,200lbs. All I will say is that I'm glad I was just moving it about 40 miles. I would have been white knuckled for sure on the interstate or freeway. You are smart for...

I gave up on the ED....

I hear ya on that, we have a '93 4Runner and that thing simply will not die. I would trust it to go anywhere, anytime. I'm hoping the 7.3 is more that way, just a simple pushrod V8 and the model I bought is pretty stripped down. Time will tell. Had such high hopes for the ED but I couldn't...

    New 2021 Ram Eco Diesel

You know everyone has their version of intervals but I did every 6K and fuel filter every other oil change. One of the few oil changes that I did twice and literally didn't spill a drop. It's that simple. I purchased filters from the dealership and saved all my receipts.

I gave up on the ED....

I won't go into a lot of details but engine replacement before 300 miles, cab off the frame twice, treated terribly by "customer care" and the dealership, multiple lights on for various systems and 8" display doing super weird stuff on a new truck. I decided to go back to F250 and the 7.3 gas...

    New 2021 Ram Eco Diesel

Yep, a downfall of the dealership doing that work. It is one the most straight forward oil changes you could ever do. Maybe watch some videos and next time tackle it yourself. You can do it for a third of the price yourself. Even the fuel filter is super simple.

Engine makes a loud ticking sound

I have no ticks or knocks of any kind, under load or empty. Very quiet through the entire RPM range. 2020 with 13,000 miles, 4x4 Bighorn.

    Oil pressure gauge.

I haven't noticed any big fluctuations in mine at idle. How big of a swing are you seeing? I have a 2020 ED with right at 13,000 miles now.

Gen 3 EcoDisel with oil leaking from turbo. Anybody else?

Hopefully it was something simple like that. My new 2020 had an oil leak and was a defective engine block casting. Had to have an engine replacement but no problems since. I sure hope you do not have to go through that!! Keep us updated.

Couple questions from an Ecodiesel Noob

I will let the experts weigh in but IMO, the ED costs are higher and finding a qualified technician is even more difficult. Any decent dealership or even a qualified diesel mechanic has worked on tons of Cummins, not so much with the ED's. I purchased complete coverage up to 100K miles on my...
