Matty I don’t know if any difference in US & Canadian AEM.
1shadow Full delete not worth it unless you have a problem. Since you already have a tune EGR cooler delete removes the other problem child of these motors.

After learning all this stuff about my EcoDiesel I tried to get a GDE hot tune. Their website said they are sold out so I emailed them. Here's their response:
We were shut down by the EPA 3+ months ago. See below:
We are not able to reflash/install our tune at this time due to...
I am also new to the forum and just purchased my ecodiesel last night. 2019 Ecodiesel Laramie 4x4 with the 3.92 ratio and limited slip diff. I have a couple RAM 3500 dually trucks with the cummins for our business and think they are
great. I wanted this for personal use. I will be doing...
Update on my truck, first 1000 miles:
-Burning plastic smell went away. I had my first regen, it was minimal and during highway speed on a road trip. no issues reported.
-at 850 miles, towed my heavy 67 chevelle from paint back home thru the canyon (about 1k feet, down to the river to 150 feet...
I have a 2018 Limited 4x4 with 6'+ bed and I pull a 7500# travel trailer with no problem at all. I can run 70 mph for hours; plus I've never had a problem with oil overheating. I would not hesitate to go up to 8000 based on my experience, but I'm also running both an engine and trans tune and...
Hello! new here, i just bought a 2019 Eco-diesel. I have been reading a lot about the past engines and issues. But the details for these generations and the changes are very hard to find and even Wikipedia doesn't have much info on them.
I hoping this new thread will include peoples posts of...
Hi All New Member to the Forum
Currently on my 3rd Eco-diesel. It is a 2015 Limited. Just had my EGR cooler replaced by FCA. truck was in the shop for 9 weeks. What a pain!! Have had tunes in the past but more of the old school traditional type. Performance since the update and repair are...
That is fantastic news, nothing like ingenuity. Hopefully you can continue your work and provide great tunes for diesel vehicles. Super happy with mine.
BANKS Power Derringer for eco? Their website gives a CARB OE for engine tune. Although no Transmission tune from them. Or was I seeing something different?
GDE is in the process of certifying the Ram application with CARB now. We should have an EO within a few months. We will be the first and only certified aftermarket engine and transmission ecm tunes on this application.
To me the opportunity to have a touchscreen that flashes the darn truck in my driveway is much more convenient than swapping ecm. Money is penny’s when you sit down and crunch numbers. I spent around 1100 with sofa for 1&2 engine tune and trans tune and 400 on my egr delete kit and the exhaust...
Don't waste your time. Try one of the others (Sofa King, or one from Canada.) GDE got cold feet and more or less shut down after the EPA shut down one of the other tuners (there are a couple thread on this forum dealing with this issue.) Just google tunes (such as SofaKingtune) and get one...
Vern, I’ve been snooping around this thread and some others, got a ‘14 ED with 163k miles on it. Had it deleted with Sasquatch exhaust and PPEI tuning at 132k after it went into limp and the dash lit up like a Christmas tree.
It has run great, although my MPG didn’t really go up (20hp/25lbs...
There are lots of people wondering how SFT is selling tunes that turn off the EGR when so many if not all the other tuners have been shut down.
I am not making a criticism of any kind BTW. It is just curious is all. I own the GDE engine tune AND the SFT trans tune.
I think if I was a tuner that...
