Well, it makes me wonder why they changed the spec all of a sudden with no explaintion. Perhaps the opportunity is there but its to early to tell if the switch has caused or will cause any problems for us

Anyone heard if anything new is coming for the 2017 ecodiesel? Since they really don't have any competition in the diesel half ton market I guess we can expect power numbers to stay the same. ??

What did you decide to do? I would at least get a extended warranty, or delete the dpf system if you're worried and close to being out of warranty.

With most modern diesels your not going to see much of a difference if at all. Some say they noticed more "turbo sound" but thats still why I'm stock. don't really see the need to spend the money for "looks".

I do like a bigger tire as well. the stock goodyears are junk!!

I was thinking it would be good to provide a guide of best practices for a new ecodiesel owner. I know it would of benefited me especially since its my first diesel. I will start it off 1) Change oil every 10K miles 2) Change fuel filter ever 20K miles ^^ I know these two are subjective, but...

Emissions isn't designed around the tire size, that's for sure. It sounds like they didn't want to mess with it. But ya, I would do a CTS 2 if you don't want to run a tune.
