I needed a commuter and to be able to pull a 6k lb travel trailer. 1/2 tons didn't seem commuter friendly to me (they're very ridged) and I don't need to pull that much weight. The gas 1/4 tons looked like a good option but as soon as I hook up the trailer the mpg's plummet from there already...

The gate assist is from DeeZee. The part number on this one states it's good on Ram's to 2013. It's actually good to 2015. Very few tools needed. There is a factor hole in the bottom left side of the tailgate that one of the mounting balls attaches to and you have to remove the top cable...

Anyone getting DEF at the pump from a truck stop? I think I remember seeing it when a buddy was fueling up. Is it cheaper than by the gal at Wal-mart? For some reason I want to say I saw it at $1.50ish but can't be sure.
