Just took these pictures of mine front and rear. Again they were purchased February of 2015, and have about 21k on them now, between both trucks I had.
Yes like I said in my intro a couple of months ago, so glad to find a site ran well, with good info on everything I had questions about! Especially being new to diesels as a whole. So thank you BoostN for the site and the help!
Ok so John over on the other board in this forum, 5w40. Posted the actual service bulliten, but I can't get the link to copy. It lists the new oil, as well as new sticker for oil cap and so on. So you may be right about them not having all the parts.
Wish I had read this before I brought mine in for oil change yesterday. I posted in the Maintenance forum about my oil change. They didn't have the required oil to change it over to the new spec of oil yet. So I have the new old spec of oil in it now. Also, didn't know they would provide it for...
Don't know but they said it hadn't been received in stock yet. I imagine they can't go out and fill a purchase order from local parts stores if that is so. Said that by the time I have it in for next change of oil they would have it.
I use meguires, car and wax, then use the NXT from meguires. I put two to three Coates on and it will last the season. Usually by the time I am done placing it on the truck, I can start removing it. Seems to keep the color and allow the specs to be seen longer even when dirty, or least for a time.
That's my thoughts as well, but wanders why the dealership is telling him they won't cover it due to late oil change? When manual states different, and coverage is there. Reminder, nth is is me overhearing the techs and customer service rep, talking in the bay about the truck so don't know what...
Just did my first oil change at 7k. Not sure if it's just my dealer but found out that they will warranty power train if I bring in at or before 6k for oil changes. Unfortunately I used up my one give me at this point, so I have to make sure I make it in on time from now on. Question is, manual...
I have the ko2 on mine. I had these same tires on my hemi I traded for this truck and had the dealer switch the tires over. A total of around 20k on these things and showing little wear. I drove to upper Michigan from central ky and did some light off road they handled great. Also, I drove this...
I have had my 2016 ram bighorn ecodiesel since Febuary. I traded in my hemi for it. I do miss the jump off the line the gave me. But the mpg this thing has is great and well worth the switch.
