I got to thinking about it... my last oil chance was 2-3k ago and I think I ended up with almost 12 quarts added. Wonder if I overfilled it or didn’t give it enough time to settle
I spoke with s/a at dealer he said since it’s been within 2 years of the first one it’s covered either way and the aem flash would cover whatever else it would likely be
Yeah I read in another thread it’s discontinued. I checked the hose connections and it seems okay. Idk what the hell its doing. Might just do aem flash earlier than anticipated and tune and delete egr and change oil cooler for good luck. I’m wondering if my egr shit the bed again. It’s been 23k...
Anyone had this code before? Got it once a few weeks ago hauling a load of wood on the trailer down the road got it as soon as I was pulling out of the driveway. I got it again today empty heading home. I noticed this morning on the way to work my throttle seemed a little more lag than normal...
Just got the P04DB code and noticed my egr seems to be staying open longer and more than usual according to the monitor... wonder if mine shit the bed again
My Sofa tune is in the mail. I’ll be doing a full unboxing installation and performance review when it comes in. My plan is to take truck to dealer once egr recall has a solution and get aem, and egr done at once, then come home and install tuner so I will have results of stock tune, aem tune...
I’d download alfaobd and get a 30$ scan tool and force a regen yourself. They’re going to fight the repairs tooth and nail and get you for whatever dimes and nickels they can
I’m sorry to hear about your situation. Hopefully they don’t try to hit you with a disassembly fee cause they’re all assholes like that!!! I’m suprised they did a tear down before submitting the request to have motor replaced and getting that ball rolling...
2014 eco with 133k currently.
I have put 20k on it and other than oil and filter changes and fuel filter changes I have only had to do #4 glowplug.
Just got service records from previous owner in New Jersey...
Truck had intake, egr tube, water pump, fuel pump, fuel pump metering valve, fuel...
Fresh off the press...
Says it fails internally. If you research the bushings it appears the bushings they are referring to is the external bushings that leak coolant outside of the block seeing as how that’s the number one spot eco owners are directed to look at first. F IT JUST DELETE THE...
I still don’t understand how the bushings are causing a failure, according to what I’ve seen it’s the metal that the egr is made from. I just received my official recall today and it’s baffling to read. To me it sounds as if it’s an internal failure, if it’s internal idk how a bushing is going...
I’ve gone with the sofaking tune at the moment so I don’t have any downtime and I went ahead and got the trans tune also. I plan on doing a full unboxing and installation/ performance review with intervals every 5-10k for mileage and motor performance with their stage 1 tune.
The egr Develops a leqk and causes fire inside the intake making it melt. It’s an open recall on all of them with no fix at the moment. The air ride I have read causes lots of headaches. Hopefully it doesn’t have it but if you plan to tow you will deff want to invest in a set of bags for the...
Amen. If you don’t like the truck or have too many problems sell it. I love my truck but when it breaks I cuss it. Fortunately it’s been loyal and hasn’t needed a tow yet.
2014 with133k on mine. Previous owner did intake based off service records due to egr recall. In the process of stage 1 delete right now. Will go to stage 2 full delete if dpf or scr messes up.
