Just noted on Post #9. Payload is Payload, it can not be changed by upgrades! Anything added to the Truck reduces Payload, whether it's People, Cargo, Fuel or Options (add ons).

It's not 617# on a 6500# 5th Wheel Trailer, it's 617# on a 3450# 5th Wheel Trailer. That's almost 18% Pin weight. I was never concerned about the Trailer, I was more concerned about the Payload on my new Truck. SLT
