Has anyone heard of any changes for the 2018 EcoDiesel engine? It's been in the Ram since 2014, so 3 model years.. perhaps it could be 4 or 5 before any big changes I guess.. but with the random engine issues and other little things, I would hope they have refined the engine somewhat.

Glad to see FCA is continuing the use of the EcoDiesel! This tells us it's probably here to stay.

Big step forward for us as EzLynk has released and update that allows the auto agent (the module) to communicate with the EcoDiesel in the Ram and Jeep for data logging and engine monitoring.
Flashing support is on the horizon, which would be HUGE for EcoDiesel's as no one offers remote...
Truck Trend is reporting that FCA is working on a new I6 Diesel that could potentially replace the 3.0L EcoDiesel.

The MPG figures are about what I expected...
Many are tuned and have issues with the dealer wanting to update your ECM. But once you're tuned that update overrides your custom tuning. This should help and hopefully the technician will not go as far as taking it off to do it.
We all know how well most service writers listen...
