    Egr delete seems to be number 1. Tune it. Dpf/scr delete if desired, and dealer told me don’t go over 7k on oil changes. 8k only if you absolutely need to.

    Matt I did install the diffuser tube blank offs but my egr is still in place. You can get muffler delete from amazon along with dpf straight pipe for your testing purposes

    UPDATE. Kept getting a reoccurring p04DB code From time to time since I switched to 35’s. I reset shift values in my trans tune and boom seems to have improved my shifts and truck is even more responsive! I’m curious to see if the truck throws it when I pull trailers anymore.

    I believe the previous owner did a lot of across state driving mixed with gridlock traffic or something. I can’t recall what it had when I bought it.

    We have discussed how many miles on our trucks... But a quick forum search turned up nothing for engine hours. Currently I have 507 idle 3298 driving 3805 total As people have related miles to a motor, I feel hours are just as equal in the equations when discussing bearing failure, egr leaks...

    Technically you should be running the assless chaps leather grill cover that FCA reccomends for anything under 50F but mine did fine today at 20F around 50mph

    Had the same song and dance. Ended up being glow plug bud. Dealer should get it no problem. If they fight and bitch and complain take it to an actual diesel shop.

    I would say possibly if the viscosity was too thick but I don’t see 10 day oil destroying these motors, more like previous damage from the motor. If jiffy changed the oil those shavings wouldn’t have been in there IMO...
