Thanks for the suggestion. I had purchased a basic kit, but was not able to get it to go in on the centerline of the glowplug because the cowl is interfering (#2 glowplug). It's probably worth it for me to try again with the deluxe kit. Maybe it's got some better options.
I'm looking at the real possibility that I need to remove one of the cylinder heads on my 05 Ecodiesel to extract a broken glow plug. I'm wondering (for those who have gotten into these engines), are you using the factory camshaft timing tools to reassemble?

I measured the old ones at around 0.7 ohms. The new ones were at 1.4 ohms, so it will probably take twice as long. I'm in the Sacramento valley (California), so I probably won't need them very often anyway.

I just purchased a 2015 Ecodiesel at auction. it had an engine fire, so the intake was melted. After getting the intake off, I noticed that 2 of the glow plug tips were loose, so I am going to replace them. I found that there is a Volvo part that crosses to the Bosch 0250603008...
